Hey, I'm Mikaela Allen, and I'm an active-duty military spouse — which is how we ended up in the beautiful Lowcountry. I made sure to earn my license as quickly as I could so I could start helping people buy and sell their homes.

Helping people with their real estate, especially the military community, is the part of this work I care about most. Having done a few military moves myself, I know the stress they can add, and I love being able to make that process easier in any way I can.

Because I have lived the PCS timeline firsthand, I understand how much rides on getting it right — coordinating a house hunt around report dates, weighing whether to buy or rent, and making sense of the VA loan and Basic Allowance for Housing before you ever step inside a home. I work to keep the moving parts organized so a family arriving from out of state can land somewhere that fits their budget and their commute without the usual scramble.

First-time buyers are another group I love working with. Buying a home for the first time can feel overwhelming, so I take the time to explain each step, answer the questions people are sometimes afraid to ask, and make sure my clients feel confident rather than rushed.
