Our VA/BAH calculator uses the official Department of Defense BAH rates for the Beaufort/Parris Island Military Housing Area, then subtracts your existing monthly debts to estimate a realistic maximum purchase price. It accounts for principal and interest on a 30-year VA loan, plus estimated property taxes and homeowners insurance, so the result reflects a full monthly payment rather than just the loan itself.
